Outstanding service from Judi and Diane... But the food is definitely not up to usual Bob Evans standards. My omelette arrived with the insides completely not cooked. I would be very specific in ordering at this location. Quick and friendly service but lackluster food.

About the only thing I could express disappointment at was the waitress could have used a tad more training on what to do. Everything else was fine, food, atmosphere, clean. One of the nicer ones we've visited and we'll certainly go again. Stop by if you're in the area and you'll be done and back on the road before you'd even get a table at the C-Barrel on the other side of the town.

Horrible food, my broccoli looks like old stained rubber broccoli. The presentation was dirty. The waitress was very sweet, I only stayed there for her.

This is my second review for Bob Evans. Not much improvement in the last three months. The service was very slow. We were there for breakfast, and waited twenty minutes before they took our order. Neither my wife or I received what we ordered, the wait staff was not familiar with the menu. Good points: We had a large group and they accommodated us quickly. The place was reasonable clean, although the child's highchair could have been cleaner. They did get the two yearold child something to eat fairly quickly. The food was better than average, not good or great. They divided the checks without ordeal and there no compulsory tipping (the reason for three stars). Bad points: Poor service and very slow. Our server seemed to care, but needed a lot more training. And I think the kitchen was not helping manners. Additionally the cream was brought in these stupid mini-bowls that slopped and spilled all over everything. Food was cold.

My family had a large group lunch here today. One table's service was very good. The two other table's was most likely the worst service I've experienced in a restaurant. The first table had already received their food before we were "allowed" to order because our waitress was so busy with her 3 tables - one of which was the rest of our group. The food was adequate, service was awful and rude. Will not go back.

Had dinner with my spouse and four young daughters. The decor is all new and very well done. The menu is standard fair but fresh and flexible to sensitive tastes. The service (our server was a real pro named Manny) was first rate and made the meal. Bob Evans is family dining. They are great at it and striving to improve with each step. We'll be returning again soon.

This is the Best and Nicest place to eat breakfast around!! I am not from this area but the wait staff really do make you feel like friend and family! The manager and hostess welcomes you in the morning with a big genuine smile and it continues all the way to the wait staff!! The cooks are on point as well!! Menu is wide spread and changes quite often and the food is good quality and comes out just like you would expect it to look from the menu picture, always hot fresh, and very quick!!! Always very clean and homey feel!! Again great place to eat breakfast!! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had!!

Used to come here a lot more when I lived closer, but my last visit left something to be desired. Pros: Food is pretty consistent and not bad for the price. Although I didn't have it this time, their breakfast is yummy! Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Cons: Although we were seated quickly, it took our waitress several minutes to come over and get our drink order. Then, several minutes to get our drinks. Even longer for her to take our order. Our meals were served - I got a turkey bacon melt with fries and mac n cheese. My husband got a burger with fries and mac n cheese. The fries were over cooked, too crunchy. My husband asked for no tomato and, of course, it had two big tomatoes on the burger. Okay, no biggie, just take them off. The waitress did notice that they were on the side of the plate and did ask "Did they put tomatoes on anyways?" Umm yeah. But she didn't apologize, but sort of laughed it off. Toppings on a sandwich are no biggie if you can just pick them off, but an "sorry bout that" would have been nice. I also sat for about five minutes with an empty glass while the waitress stood talking to the other waitresses.

This place was outstanding! I was leery because we try to stay away from chain restaurants but my husband and I and our three kids had wonderful food and awesome service. I had the chicken potpie, my husband had a burger, my kids had chicken strips and grilled cheese. The price great too. All 5 of us ate and got cookies to go for under $50.

The food here made my stomach upset. I had scrambled eggs (which aren't scrambled at all...more like a square block of whipped/cooked eggs) and the chicken fried steak. My potatoes weren't cooked all the way, either. The waitress was nice, but she kept pushing the soup. Even after we ordered, she questioned whether we wanted soup. And then, at the end, she reminded us of their soup "to go" special. LOL! I understand a marketing campaign, but it was like the three denials of Christ. What part of "no thanks" was she not getting? Wouldn't stop here again.

I recently stopped in for breakfast at this popular chain eatery. The food was functional, but not as good as I remember it being as a kid. I opted for the Farmer's Choice breakfast where I chose two hotcakes, two scrambled eggs, Bob Evans brand sausage links, and home fries. The hotcakes were not fluffy, and the scrambled eggs were offputting having been served as a single clump of egg. The only memorable component of the dish was the sausage links which were decidedly flavorful and of generally good quality. Service was gruff, and I witnessed my waitress spilling a dish over the table across from me. The mess was dealt with unceremoniously with no effort to make amends. The older couple paid full price for their meal and left a little bit bitter for the experience after complaining to the manager. Really much better breakfast fare with excellent service can be had at competitive prices; I see little reason to stop in here unless you just really want their trademarked sausage.
